#1 Culture Shock

I have been here for close to one year. The first time that I saw something weird to me, they were homeless people. In my country -Turkey- homeless people are not on the streets. It was so surprising to me they could live like this. I felt so insecure even though they were harmless. Before transferring to Harold Washington, I was in Kaplan International Languages. After taking the Red Line train, I discovered an underway. There were so many homeless people. They were kinda of hiding, they were under the cover of a blanket. I felt like somebody would follow me to my home. But then I learned to live with it. I used the same way without having any fear.
