In this unit, I did not know the terms for movies such as tearjerker, movie buff and blockbuster. First, I learned that a tearjerker is a type of movie or story that evokes strong emotions of sadness, empathy, or sentimentality in its audience, often leading to tears or intense emotional reactions. Then, I learned that movie buff refers to someone who has a deep passion, enthusiasm, and extensive knowledge about films. Finally, I learned that a blockbuster typically refers to a highly successful, widely popular, and financially lucrative movie that achieves significant commercial success at the box office. My Aha moment was the moment that I did not know a lot about the movie industry. For example, I had no idea what Bollywood and Tyler Perry were. I watched one of the movies that are created by these two, they were incredible.
